2023 Spring EML4502 Teaching Team
Koco Bean is getting her Masters in IT Security and is set to graduate in Spring 2023. She started working in the MERGE Lab as an ULA to explore her passion for teaching and physical security. Outside of working, she enjoys long walks, playing fetch, and reading.
Ria is a fifth-year mechanical engineering major with a computer science minor set to graduate in Spring 2023. After graduating she plans to work as a software developer. Outside of school, she enjoys painting, skating, and traveling.
Kaiana is a third-year aerospace engineering student projected to graduate in Spring 2024. She started working with MERGE Lab as a student machinist for the Spring 2023 semester. After graduating, Kaiana aims to purse a graduate degree in solid mechanics and manufacturing. Outside of school, she enjoys various needlecrafts and reading.
Alexander Dante Lacerna (B.S. ME, Minor EE, Spring 2022) is a 2022 Mechanical Design 3 ULA. He appreciates the integration of mechanical design with circuitry and software to form fully functioning prototypes. Alex enjoys playing the classy classics, those being chess, pool, and poker, as well as staying physically active through tennis.
Nicholas Pech is a junior mechanical and aerospace engineering dual major and began working with the Merge Lab as a student machinist in Spring 2023 semester. Additionally, he is a fourth-semester TA for Design and Manufacturing Lab and the Manufacturing Director for the Liquid Propulsion Development Team. Upon graduation, Nick intends to pursue a career in the space industry developing rockets.
Carl Stanley Wisniewski is a fourth-year Aerospace Engineering student set to graduate with a B.S. in Spring 2023. He is also part of the 4+1 program where he is set to graduate with his M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Solid Mechanics, Design, and Manufacturing. After serving on the Gator Motorsports FSAE team as the Lead Intake and Exhaust engineer and as a Teaching Assistant for EML2322L, Carl was promoted to a manufacturing teaching assistant for EML4502. After college, he plans to work in the aerospace propulsion industry. Outside of school, Carl loves to travel and play soccer.
Ilan Zarin graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2022. He started working with the MERGE Lab as a student machinist in the Summer 2022 semester. He will be staying at the University of Florida to complete his MS in Mechanical Engineering in Solid Mechanics, Design, and Manufacturing.
